Carrie provides a great definition in the original rec. This word instantly brings me back to art school and listening to my graphic design friends geek out about type vs font (don’t use interchangeably!), kerning, et all I studied fashion but I absorbed fun facts through them :)

A nonstandard punctuation mark combining a question mark and exclamation point to express stunned disbelief, excitement, or rhetorical questioning in one, such as "He said what‽" Invented by advertising executive Martin K. Speckter in 1962, it is pronounced "in-TER-uh-bang" and is used to add intense energy to inquiries.
