So delightful to catch these in action. You may have heard about these in the classic children’s book Stuart Little! Just as charming as getting to row your own boat in Central Park!
Perched alongside the Conservatory Water on the east side of Central Park is a compact, gracious building full of minitaure yachts. On fair-weather Saturday mornings, if you are lucky, you can catch members of the Central Park Model Yacht Club (established in 1916 and immortalized by E.B. White in STUART LITTLE) sailing these boats across the glassy water.
