Calypso

My favorite David Sedaris book! It explores family dynamics in his typical dark humor style. The setting is (if I remember correctly) the Outerbanks of North Carolina and there is something about a book that takes place in a family beach house that automatically soothes my sentimental heart. There’s a lot of tough themes but his way of shedding light on topics continually makes me laugh out loud. I bet this would be a great audiobook too.
