This album is so sentimental to me. I played this on repeat during the pandemic, spring of 2020 when my daughter and I would drive to a nature preserve and splash in a creek alone. Jenny Jenkins by Jerry Garcia, Oo-de-Lally by Roger Miller aka rooster from Robin Hood, and Vashti Bunyan’s Diamond Day really make me think of one of the few bright spots during the crushing solitude that was that time period. If you like Free to Be You and Me vibes, this hits.
