A map of the designated Great Trees of NYC!! I love the Great Trees. And when you see one in person it really clicks like… yes this is a Great Tree. Personal favs are the weeping willow on Gerritson Ave by marine park, and the ginkgo in bedstuy in front of a 19th century mansion (which originally provided aid to those escaping slavery via the Underground Railroad!) there’s so much important history behind these trees beyond them being beautiful.
