When nothing seems to help, I go and look at a stonecutter
hammering away at his rock, perhaps a hundred times without as
much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the hundred and first
blow it will split in two, and I know it was not that last
blow that did it, but all that had gone before.
Jacob A. Riis
I heard this quote in either a book or film (can’t remember) but it’s stuck with me while I work on this massive undertaking of parting with over 15+ years of prop collecting for work. I’ve been grinding daily and putting in the work, but it’s a many miles to go before I sleep situation… it’s a good reminder that you may not see results right away but that consistency is what will eventually get you there
